This document outlines Wiply’s zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Our paramount priority is to protect children and create a safe and secure environment for all users on our platform.

1. Our Commitment

Wiply is absolutely committed to a strict, zero-tolerance policy against CSAE. We will actively work to prevent, detect, and remove any content and behavior that exploits, abuses, or endangers children. The creation, sharing, or promotion of any form of CSAE is a direct and severe violation of our community standards. Violations will result in immediate and decisive action, including content removal, account suspension, and reporting to law enforcement agencies.

2. Definitions

  • Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): This refers to any behavior or activity that sexually exploits or abuses a child. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Grooming: Building a relationship with a child, often online, with the intent of sexual exploitation.
    • Sextortion: Coercing or blackmailing a child to produce or share sexually explicit material.
    • Child Trafficking: Using the platform to recruit, transport, or harbor a child for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): This is any visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. The possession, distribution, or creation of CSAM is illegal and strictly forbidden on our platform.

3. Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited on the Wiply platform:

  • Sharing or Possessing CSAM: This includes all forms of images, videos, computer-generated imagery, or other visual depictions of CSAM.
  • Grooming and Solicitation: Any attempt to solicit or pressure a child to create, share, or send explicit content.
  • Live streaming of CSAE: Broadcasting live content that depicts, encourages, or facilitates CSAE.
  • Content that Depicts or Glorifies CSAE: Uploading or promoting content that portrays child abuse as acceptable or desirable.
  • App Functionality Misuse: Using any app feature to facilitate harm, exploitation, or endangerment of children.

4. Reporting Mechanisms and Enforcement

Wiply provides a clear and accessible way for users to report any content or behavior that violates this policy.

  • In-App Reporting: To report a user, simply navigate to their profile, tap the three-dot menu (…), and select ‘Report to Admin’.
  • Direct Email Reporting: For urgent concerns or to provide more detail, you can contact our dedicated support team at info@wiply.net.

Upon receiving a report, our trained moderation team will conduct a thorough review and take immediate action. Consequences for policy violations include:

  • Immediate and permanent removal of the violating content.
  • Permanent suspension and termination of the user’s account.
  • Reporting the user and all relevant information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other appropriate law enforcement agencies.

5. Compliance with the Law

Wiply is fully committed to cooperating with law enforcement and regulatory bodies to combat CSAE. We will report all confirmed instances of CSAM to NCMEC as required by law. We also comply with all applicable child safety laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other relevant regional and international laws.

6. Safeguarding Measures

We employ a combination of human and automated moderation tools to proactively identify and remove content that violates this policy. Our moderation team is trained to handle reports of CSAE with the utmost urgency and sensitivity. We also use technology to detect known CSAM and prevent it from being uploaded to our platform.
