How Blur & Reveal Works

Our primary tool for managing sensitive content is the Blur & Reveal feature, which ensures that images classified as adult are blurred by default, requiring viewers to actively click to reveal them.

1. AI-Driven Blurring: We utilize advanced Artificial Intelligence Vision models to automatically detect images and media that are considered adult content. Upon detection, our AI will instantly apply a blur filter to the content.
2. Manual Intervention: If our AI system fails to identify a piece of adult content, our content moderation team will manually review and apply the blur filter. In all cases, our goal is to blur and apply the flag, not to delete.

User Responsibility: The “ADULT CONTENT” Flag

To maintain the integrity of our community and the accuracy of our system, we ask for your proactive participation:

• Set the Flag: If you believe your content is adult, you must select the ADULT CONTENT option. This option can be found by clicking the wheel gear (Options) icon in the post options menu before publishing. This is the simplest and fastest way to ensure your content complies with our guidelines.
• The Wiply Guarantee: We understand that errors happen, but we want to assure you of our policy against direct deletion: Wiply will never cancel or directly delete your images based on adult content classification.

Our Commitment to No Deletion

Our priority is to preserve your content and minimize disruption.

• Forcing the Flag: Should you upload adult content and fail to set the ADULT CONTENT flag, our moderation team will not immediately delete the post. Instead, we will force the ADULT CONTENT flag from our side and apply the Blur & Reveal filter. This approach avoids the situation where you would need to remove and re-upload your content solely to apply the necessary tag.
• Last Resort Deletion: Content removal is only a final measure. We will first contact the user and ask them to comply with the flagging policy. Only in cases of failure to comply or severe violations (as outlined in our broader Terms of Service) would we pursue deletion.
